Biography
Deniz Baykal (1938-2023) was a prominent Turkish politician who led the Republican People's Party for many years. Born in Antalya, Baykal was a key figure in Turkish left-wing politics and worked to preserve the secular and democratic principles of Ataturk. He served as Deputy Prime Minister and held various ministerial positions.
