Biography
Maya Ali is one of Pakistan's most beloved actresses, known for her girl-next-door charm and her ability to carry both television and film projects. Born on 27 July 1989 in Lahore, she studied commerce at the Punjab College of Business Administration before entering the entertainment industry. She made her acting debut in 2011 with Durr-e-Shahwar, for which she won the Lux Style Award for Best Emerging Talent.
Television stardom
Maya became a household name with her portrayal of Kashaf's sister Sara in the iconic Zindagi Gulzar Hai (2012). She went on to star in Aunn Zara (2013), Diyar-e-Dil (2015) and the romantic epic Mann Mayal (2016) opposite Hamza Ali Abbasi, which won her the Lux Style Award for Best TV Actress.
