Biography
Rubel Hossain (born 1 January 1990) is a Bangladeshi cricketer who plays as a right-arm fast bowler. He has been part of the Bangladesh pace attack for over a decade and is known for his raw pace and ability to generate reverse swing.
Born in Bagerhat, Rubel made his international debut in 2009. He has been a regular in the Bangladesh pace attack, particularly in Test cricket. His most memorable performance came in the 2015 World Cup quarter-final against India, where he took the crucial wicket of MS Dhoni.
Rubel has played 27 Tests, 45 ODIs, and 10 T20Is for Bangladesh. He has been a part of several historic Bangladeshi victories and continues to be a threat with the ball.
